Wanda M. (Lewis) Lebo

Wanda M. (Lewis) Lebo, age 79 passed away peacefully on Monday evening, October 3, 2022 at her home in Morgantown.

She was born September 5, 1943 in Indianapolis, to her parents, the late Herman E. and Clarissa M. (LaFary) Lewis. Wanda attended Morgantown High School. Through the years she worked at RCA as an Assembler for over 11 years in Bloomington; worked at Franklin Walmart as an ‘Everything Associate’ for over 23 years and also worked as a Bartender for over 21 years. Wanda enjoyed coin and record collecting, tending to her flowers and working jigsaw & crossword puzzles. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Wanda is survived by her son, Raymond ‘Squirrel’ Lebo of Morgantown; siblings, Larry Joe Lewis of Indianapolis, Tim (Pamela) Lewis of Morgantown and Randy Lewis of Martinsville; grandchildren, Troy (Donna) Phelps of Morgantown, Michael (Ashley Hood) Wimmenauer of Arizona, Zachary Tinkle of Whiteland, Heather (Bobby) Woods of California, AshLynn (Steven) Woods of Greenwood, Samantha (Dustin) Starks of Bloomington, Randy Sean Lebo of Bloomington and Shelby Lebo of Indianapolis; several great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild on the way.

She was preceded in death by children, Yvette Gayle Lebo, Yvonne Raye Lebo, Michael Edward Lebo and Emmeria Kaye Ellis; siblings, Betty Ferran and Gene Raymond; and a great granddaughter, Hayleigh Marie Lebo.

Gary LaFary will conduct a funeral service on Friday at 12 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
