Ted E. Hogue

Ted E. Hogue, age 66 passed away peacefully on Monday morning, February 6, 2023. He was a resident of Trafalgar.

Ted was born August 10, 1956 in Franklin to his parents, the late Burgess and Alene (Hatfield) Hogue. He was a 1972 graduate of Indian Creek High School. Ted worked as a Carpenter most of his life in Johnson County.

He will be remembered by his family and friends as a multi-tasker and a Jack of all trades. Ted enjoyed watching old western movies with John Wayne being his favorite actor. He was a fan of Indiana University Men’s Basketball and the Indianapolis Colts. Ted loved his family and will be missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Palmer-Hogue of Trafalgar; children, Derek Hogue & Amber (Eli Elrod) Gatewood both of Trafalgar; siblings, Beverly Koron of Bargersville, Denise Hogue-Smith of Greenwood, Richard (Kelly) Hogue and Bill (Sharon) Hogue both of Trafalgar; grandchildren, Elijah, Ezra & Zeke Elrod all of Trafalgar; best friends, Russell Teeters and Dan Erhgott both of Trafalgar.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents; brother, J.C. Hogue; grandfather, Clancy Hogue; and a brother-in-law, Tom Koron.   

A celebration with friends and family will take place at a later date. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
