Ronald "Ronnie" L. Smith

Ronald “Ronnie” L. Smith, age 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, March 7, 2026 at his daughter’s home in Camby.

Ronnie was born January 21, 1938 in Franklin, to his parents, the late Zeno and Lola (Mitchell) Smith.

Ronnie was a talented auto body repairman, serving the Morgantown, Trafalgar and surrounding areas for more than 60 years. Ronnie enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR and riding his motorcycle. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic and skill in his trade.

He will be missed by his children, Judy Smith-Glenn of Camby, Dale Smith of Mooresville and Rita Bollinger; eight grandchildren including Mindy (Mike) Lapke and Brian Rodenbeck as well as several great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard E. Smith.

A private graveside service was held at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown. Arrangements are entrusted to Meredith Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
