Roger Dean Feltner, age 62 passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, November 14, 2023 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. He was a resident of Greenwood.
Roger was born September 22, 1961 in Franklin, to his parents, the late Charles Ray and Alene (Fisher) Feltner. He was a 1980 graduate of Indian Creek High School. Roger was a retired construction worker.
He enjoyed the outdoors by hunting, fishing and visiting garage sales. Roger also enjoyed classic cars and watching the Andy Griffth Show and Wagon Train. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and being a jokester.
Roger is survived by his girlfriend, Dee Gorman of Greenwood; children, Brittany Walker, Zachary Feltner, Kylie Barr; stepchildren, Denisa Mulryan, Austin, Jeffrey & Kevin Smith; siblings, Russell, DeWayne, Randy Feltner and Diana Drew; three grandchildren, five step grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In keeping with Roger’s wishes, he will be cremated with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at a future date. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
