Robert "Bob" E. Kelley

Robert ‘Bob’ E. Kelley, age 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, March 4, 2023 at Grand Brook Memory Care in Greenwood.  He was a resident of Morgantown and former resident of Brownsburg.

Bob was born December 26, 1937, in Lafayette, to his parents the late Joseph W.  and Dorothy (Tyrie) Kelley. He proudly served his country as an Aircraft Mechanic with the United States Air Force. Bob married Susan J. Kite on August 8, 1960 in Lafayette and spent 59 loving and devoted years together until her passing in 2020.

Bob retired in 1994 from Texas Eastern Pipeline in Clermont, where he worked as a Terminal Operator for over 34 years. He loved spending time in the outdoors by fishing and mushroom hunting. He also enjoyed playing the slot machines and spending time with friends and family.

He will be missed by his son, Tim Kelley and his partner, Shane White of Morgantown and his brother-in-law Jim Kite and his partner, Judy Bandy of Indianapolis as well as several nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Kelley; son, Todd Kelley; parents and several brothers and sisters.

Bro. Stan White will conduct a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Brownsburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time at the cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown.
