Pauline (Camerillo) Ferguson, age 99 of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, December 21, 2024 at Otterbein Franklin Senior Life Community.
Pauline was born on January 25, 1925 in Kansas City, Missouri to her parents, the late Everardo and Eulalia (Alvarez) Camerillo. She was a loving homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.
Pauline was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing, quilting and working puzzles. She will be remembered for her strong Catholic faith and excellent cooking and baking, especially her delicious homemade tamales. Pauline was a fan of the Indiana Fever as well as the Kansas City Chiefs and enjoyed watching their games on television.
She is survived by her children, Mike (Pam) Ferguson and Timothy Ferguson both of Morgantown, Fred (Cheryl) Ferguson of Trafalgar, Diana Law of Columbus, Cathy (Chuck) Couch of Brown County, Kenny (Debbie) Ferguson of Morgantown, Paula (Monty) Lory of Brown County and Annette Hicks of Franklin; sister, Benita Gonzales of Kansas City, Missouri; 45 grandchildren as well as several great grandchildren & great-great grandchildren.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Paul I. Ferguson in October of 1983. Pauline was also preceded in death by her children, Buddy Ferguson, Angela Tatum, Mary Reed, Patricia First and Carmen Roberts; siblings, Irene Campbell, Lucy Gonzalez, Manuel, Johnny & Raymond Camerillo and sons-in-law Ed First & Richard Hicks.
Rev. Darrel Miller will conduct a funeral service at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 27th at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
