Ora Wayne Allison, age 60 passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, June 25, 2025 at Franciscan Health Hospital in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Brown County.
Ora was born June 6, 1965 in Franklin, to his parents, the late John Paul and Lois Faye (Cline) Allison.
Ora worked construction as a Pipelayer for several years. In his free time he enjoyed spending time in the outdoors by mushroom and ginseng hunting as well as taking care of the yard. He loved animals and had a heart for helping others. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He will be missed by his sister, Taulana Allison; daughter-in-law, Jessica Myers; uncle, Roger (Linda) Cline; stepson, Andrew Jasper and 2 grandchildren as well as several friends.
Ora was preceded in death by his parents; son, John Paul Allison II; and brothers, Tony Allison, John David and an infant brother.
In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated with a memorial service held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
