Norene L. (Mullins) Wagers

Norene L. (Mullins) Wagers, age 92 passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, March 27, 2025 at her home in Trafalgar.

Norene was born on February 25, 1933, in Magoffin County, Kentucky, to the late Edgar and Esther Mullins. She was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker, and grandmother. Norene was a member of the Faith Full Gospel Church in Brown County, and she took great joy tending to her flower and vegetable gardens, canning, visiting yard sales, and attending church. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family, whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, Norene was preceded in death on March 27, 2019 by her loving husband of 67 years, Frank Wagers, whom she married on March 31, 1951 in Manchester, Kentucky. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ronny Wagers, siblings, Maxine Burton, Eller Hoskins, Elmer Mullins and Oscar Mullins; grandson, Jimmy Wagers and a great grandson, Dakota Wagers-Smith.

She is survived by her children, Donny Wagers and Jerry Wagers both of Trafalgar, Herschel (Carol) Wagers of Nineveh, Patricia (Harold) Fisher of Edinburgh, Lillian (Dennis) Smith of Nineveh and Doug Wagers of Nineveh; daughter in law, Mary Wagers of Brown County; grandchildren, James, Lisa, Leah, Angel, Michael, Shawn, Eric, Curtis, Halle, Tyler, Ronnie, Charlott, Jesse, Heather, Kyle, Justin, Jenny, Jamie, Jeremy, Amy Jo and Frankie; great grandchildren, Genesis, Damon, Waylon, Troy, Kaylen, Megan, Corbin, Eli, Phoenix, Matthew, Jospeh, Michael, Aidan, Kareena, Shelby, Holden, Ashton, Noah, Brianna, Emily, Morgan, Stevie, Kanita, Megan, Ruby, Abigail, Enil, Braden, Evan, Jaelee, Craegen, Jensen, Leon, Cogan, Abby, Gavin, Silas, Laylan, Kyson, Kalianna, Kinsley and Kashlyn; and several great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 1st from 4 to 8 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St in Morgantown. The Rev. Randy LeVere will conduct a funeral service on Wednesday, April 2nd at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
