Noreen L. (Lory) Baird

Noreen Louise (Lory) Baird, age 85 of Trafalgar, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, March 9, 2024 at Homeview Health & Rehabilitation in Franklin.

Noreen was born on March 27, 1938 in Martinsville, to her parents, the late Henry and Evelyn (Bray) Lory. Noreen attended Morgantown High School. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Noreen was a member of the Morning Star Church in Trafalgar and enjoyed traveling with her husband Tim in their RV and raising Arabian Horses.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, James T. “Tim” Baird, whom she married on August 21, 1954 in Indianapolis, and her siblings, Suzanne Brooks, Lynn Allen, Frank Lory and Mark Lory.

Noreen is survived by her sons, Tim (wife, Lori) Baird, Brian (wife, Beth) Baird, Pastor Brett (wife, Kim) Baird, Mike (wife, Rhonda) Baird & Tyler (wife, Amy) Baird, 13 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren.

A private family service will be held and Noreen will be laid to rest beside her husband at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown. Funeral services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
