Nathan Jarred Harris, age 34 passed away all too soon on Thursday morning, March 27, 2025 at his home in Brown County.
Nathan was born January 28, 1991 in Bartholomew County and worked in construction as a carpenter. He enjoyed spending his time in the outdoors by hiking, and riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers. Nathan also enjoyed gaming and reading Games of Thrones and Lord of the Rings series. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his children.
Nathan will be missed by his mother, Shannon D. (Rick Farris) Harris; father, Craig Smith; lifelong partner, Heather Murphey; children, Jasmine Thomas, Ryker Harris and Adler Harris; siblings, Sean Harris-Rudd, Seth Harris-Rudd; half-siblings, Baylee Greeson and Caleb Phillips; step-brothers, Jason Farris and Jeremy Farris; grandparents, Almeda Harris & Ruby Hartman as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Cosby & Monna Smith, maternal grandfather Michael Harris, uncle Sean Harris and sister Shalea Harris.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 5th from 4-6 p.m. at This is That Church: 6881 N State Road 135 in Brown County. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown.
