Margaret Ann Mowell

Margaret Ann Mowell, age 86, passed away peacefully on the morning of Friday, May 9, 2025, at Homeview Health & Rehabilitation Center in Franklin. She was a former resident of West Virginia.

Born on October 28, 1938, in Eccles, West Virginia, Margaret was the daughter of the late Clyde and Hazel (McFalls) Mowell. For the past several years, she was a beloved resident at Homeview Health, where she became known as a social butterfly, always eager to engage with those around her. She found joy in meeting babies, people-watching, playing bingo, and listening to live music. Margaret also had a fondness for enjoying milkshakes, soda, listening to Elvis and rewatching episodes of I Love Lucy and The Golden Girls.

Her family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Homeview Health for their unwavering care, love, and friendship, which made Margaret feel like a part of their family.

Margaret is survived by her siblings: Barbara Tyree of Franklin, James "Jim" (Vanessa) Mowell of Anderson, and Johnny (Tammy) Mowell of Pax, West Virginia. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Norma Broadstreet and Clyde Mowell Jr.

Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown.
