Lucas Michael Carter

Lucas Michael Carter, age 45 of Nashville, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Lucas was born November 18, 1980 in Danville, Illinois to his parents, Stephen Michael and Donna (Britton) Carter.

Lucas enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, especially hiking. He loved being with friends and family, whether going out to eat or shopping together. He was also an avid sports fan and proudly cheered for Indiana University and the Indianapolis Colts. Lucas also loved taking care of his dog. Kermit.

He will be deeply missed by his mother, Donna Carter of Nashville; sisters, Jennifer Powell of Bedford and Julie (Joseph) Long of Springville; nieces and nephews, Thorin, Mazzy, Jaxon, Monte and Jenna; and great niece, Lakelynn.

Lucas was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Carter.

There are no services at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
