Lois “Faye” (Cline) Allison, age 84 passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, December 12, 2024 at Brown County Health & Living Community in Nashville. She was a resident of Nashville.
Lois was born in Franklin on February 13, 1940 to the late Sam and Flo (Pryor) Cline. She attended Brown County High School. Faye retired from Brown County Head Start where she worked as a Cook and a former Bus Driver for over 30 years.
Faye enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, listening and singing classic country music. She will be remembered for the many wedding cakes and cookies she made for family and friends. Faye was a fan of old western and crime shows.
She is survived by her children, Taulana Allison and Ora Allison both of Nashville; brother, Roger (Linda) Cline of Nashville; grandchildren, Jamie Allison of Tennessee & Andrew Jasper of Indianapolis; great grandchildren, Jai Allison of Nashville, Austin Jasper & Andrea Jasper both of Indianapolis; daughter in law, Jessica Myers of Nashville; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death on November 3, 1994 by her loving husband of 37 years, John Paul Allison; whom she married on June 26, 1957. She was also preceded in death by children, Tony Allison, John David Allison and an infant son; grandson, John Paul Allison II; seven sisters and four brothers.
In keeping with Faye’s wishes, she will be cremated and a graveside service with be held at a future date at Sprunica Cemetery next to her husband. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown.
