Linda Irene (Frost) Martenies

Linda Irene (Frost) Martenies, age 61 passed away all too soon on Wednesday morning, August 30, 2023 at her home in Martinsville. She was a former resident of Michigan.

Linda was born December 1, 1961 in Flint, MI to her parents, the late Lyle Brayton and Marjorie Emmaline (Kirby) Frost. She attended Harrison High School in Harrison, MI. Linda worked as a health care worker for Tendercare South Senior Living Community in Lansing, MI for several years.

She enjoyed watching old 80’s movies & soap operas, playing bingo and tending to her cat, “Little Girl”. Linda’s true love and passion was caring for her companion, David and her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. She loved each of them dearly.

Linda is survived by her children, Angela (Steven) Frost of Lansing, MI, Jeremiah A. (Brianna) Abbott of Cadillac, MI, Joseph H. Frost & Chrystal M. Byrd, both of Lansing, MI and Heather Rodgers of St. John’s, MI; longtime companion, David Mills of Martinsville; brother, Lyle B. Frost of Louisiana; 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Winky Frost and Cindy Frost.

In keeping with Linda’s wishes, she will be cremated, and inurnment will take place at East Hill Cemetery at a later date. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
