Kenny A. Phillips

Kenneth A. “Kenny” Phillips, age 43, passed away far too soon on Friday morning, June 20, 2025, at his home in Williams, Indiana.

Kenny was born on February 20, 1982, in Bloomington to Gary and Nellie (Thompson) Phillips. He attended Indian Creek High School and Brown County High School, where he enjoyed playing on the football team. A hardworking man, Kenny was employed in the construction industry, most recently with Phillips Home Remodeling.

Baptized at an early age in the Presbyterian Church, Kenny held a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He loved camping, sitting around a campfire, and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed playing card games and watching comedy movies—Adam Sandler being his favorite actor. His easygoing nature and warm heart will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Kenny is survived by his daughter, MacKenzie Phillips of Bloomington; his parents, Gary and Nellie Phillips of Williams; his grandmother, Joyce Eubank of Shoals; his siblings, Carolyn Phillips of Indianapolis, Matthew Phillips of Mitchell, and Nate Pearson of Indianapolis; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Ames; his grandmother, Mary Thompson; and his beloved dog, Snuggles.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, at 6615 State Road 39 in Martinsville. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
