John “Jack” Bennett Wilson, Jr., age 88 passed away peacefully on Saturday morning April 6, 2024, at his home in Brown County, IN.
Jack was born April 12, 1935, in Bloomington, to the late John "Ben" Bennett and Eunice (Misner) Wilson Sr. Jack was a graduate of Shortridge High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Marketing, and Bachelor of Law Degree from Indiana University.
He served as the Indianapolis Deputy Prosecutor, a Superior Court Judge, and as a Criminal Defense Attorney. He also taught law at Indiana University at the Indianapolis and Bloomington Campuses, and at various law schools in Spain.
Jack is survived by his daughters, Lisa (Kyle) Maschino of Oakwood, Ohio and Kimberly Davis of Sarasota, FL; grandchildren; and his brother, Richard Misner Wilson of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Thomas C. Wilson, and a sister Nancy Celibi.
