John R. Rader, age 48, passed away all too soon on Tuesday evening, February 25, 2025, at his home in Princes Lakes.
John was born on August 9, 1976, in Indianapolis, to Steven T. Sr. and Donna (Hollingsworth) Rader. He was a 1994 graduate of Indian Creek High School. After high school, John began his career with Poor Jack Amusements, where he worked for 29 years, rising through the ranks to management. He was deeply grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the Bohlander family, the owners of Poor Jack Amusements. John later worked as a laborer for UBE Corporation in Franklin.
John will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his ability to always make his family and friends laugh. He had a passion for riding his motorcycle and loved caring for his beloved cat, “Sister Kitty.”
John is survived by his mother, Donna L. (Hollingsworth) Rader of Princes Lakes; his sons, Avery Rader and Zeke Rader, both of Princes Lakes; and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Steven T. Rader Sr. and his brother, Steven T. Rader Jr.
A Celebration of John’s Life will be held at a future date. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
