Jennifer L. (Thompson) Ames

Jennifer L. (Thompson) Ames, age 44 passed away all too soon on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Morgantown.

Jennifer was born October 15, 1978 in Martinsville. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her dog, Lily. Jennifer also enjoyed singing, collecting antiques and will be remembered for being very talented at working crafts, painting and drawing.

Jennifer is survived by her children, Nathaniel Pearson of Indianapolis, Monica (Dante) Byers of Morgantown & Kirsten (Robert Parrish) George of Myrtle Beach, SC; parents, Gary and Nellie Phillips of Williams; siblings, Carolyn Phillips of Indianapolis, Kenneth Phillips of Williams and Matthew Phillips of Bedford.  

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, March 24th at 5 p.m. at the Morgantown Community Center: 269 W. Washington Street in Morgantown. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
