Retired Technical Sergeant, Jeffery L. “Jeff” Robbins of the United States Air Force, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, December 5, 2023 at Brown County Health & Living Community in Nashville. He was 66 years old and a resident of Indianapolis and former resident of Marion, IN.
Jeff was born January 21, 1957 in Howard County to his parents, Myron and Gail (Nolan) Robbins. He was a 1975 graduate of Marion High School and went on to enlist in the United States Air Force. He served two tours during Operation Desert Storm as an Aircraft Loadmaster on his favorite planes, the Hercules C-130. Jeff retired and was honorably discharged after 20 years of service.
He was a member of the Greentown Masonic Lodge #341 along with being associated DAV and American Legion in Indiana and South Carolina. Jeff enjoyed bowling, golfing and going camping. He also enjoyed watching all different kinds of sports, especially the Cincinnati Reds and was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts and Pacers. Jeff loved God and his family dearly.
He is survived by his mother, Gail Robbins of Kokomo; daughters, Gail (Raymond) Hodson of Nineveh and Alicia “Rose” Robbins of Victorville, CA; siblings, Julie (Kevin) Smith of Warsaw, David Robbins of Myrtle Beach, SC & Daniel Robbins of Kokomo; and his grandchildren.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Myron Robbins.
A Celebration of Jeff’s Life will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown. Family and friends are invited to visitation from 12 p.m. until service time on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at the funeral home. Military rites will be presented by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.
