Jeffery C. Moore

Jeffery C. Moore, age 67, passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee. He was a resident of Columbia, TN, and a former lifelong resident of Peoga, Indiana. Jeffery was a long-time member of the former Mt. Olive Methodist Church in Peoga.

Born in Franklin, Indiana, on March 21, 1957, Jeffery was the son of Jimmie D. and Virginia R. (Fleener) Moore. He was a 1975 graduate of Indian Creek High School. Jeffery was a skilled carpenter who built new homes and remodeled existing ones, showcasing his craftsmanship and work ethic. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, catfishing, and, most of all, his passion for carpentry. Over the years, Jeffery was a dedicated caregiver to his mother, Virginia. While he never had children of his own, Jeffery was blessed with many stepchildren whom he loved dearly and considered his own.

He is survived by his mother, Virginia R. Moore of Columbia, TN; his brother, John Moore of Columbia, TN; and his nephews, Todd Moore of Idaho, Scott Moore of Noblesville, and Joshua Moore of Columbia, TN.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie D. Moore, and his brother, James Moore.

In accordance with Jeffery’s wishes, he will be cremated and inurned at Bear Creek Cemetery in Brown County, Indiana. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown, Indiana.
