Jean Ellen (Phillips) Arpi, age 56 passed away all too soon on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at her home in Martinsville. She was a former resident of Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
Jean was born November 30, 1965, in Bethel, Connecticut, to her parents, the late George and Norma (Love) Phillips. She graduated from Bethel High School in Connecticut and went on to earn her Vet Tech degree.
Jean moved to Indiana in 2012 and worked for Chewy Warehouse & Fulfilment Center in Clayton. She loved spending time in the outdoors by fishing and paddling on the lake in her kayak. Jean also enjoyed cooking, reading Stephen King novels, and watching movies, even though she could never stay awake long enough to finish them. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She will be missed by her children, Jason (Mary) Pennell and Jessica Pennell both of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Kimberly Arpi of Fortville, Gabriella (Cameron) Campion of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and Becca Arpi of Martinsville; grandchildren, Rian, Charlie, Gracelynn, Paxtyn, Lyanna, Cecilia, Jack and Finnigan; siblings, Paul Phillips of South Carolina and Ruth (Kevin) Bodnar of Connecticut.
The Rev. Burt Brock will conduct a funeral service on at 12 p.m. on Thursday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
