Harry W. Patrick Jr., age 80 passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon, December 23, 2023 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Brown County.
Harry was born June 27, 1943 in Indianapolis, to his parents, the late Harry W. Sr. and Maxine H. (Doss) Patrick. He was a graduate of Brown County High School and went on to retire from Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis, where he worked as Journeyman Electrician for over 27 years. Prior to that, Harry worked as an Electrician for the Chrysler Plant in Indianapolis for ten years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Sandra M. “Sandy” (Lundy) Patrick, whom he married on June 12, 1964 in Brown County. Harry is also survived by his siblings, Kenneth (Merrileen) Patrick, Stanley Patrick & William “Bill” (Linda) Patrick, all of Brown County; grandchildren, Ryan Patrick, Tia Zeineldin, Joseph (Michele) Patrick & Cassandra Hayes; and great grandchildren, Chloe, Justin, Sam & Kayden.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Harry W. Patrick III; and infant daughters, Tambra & Katrina.
Harry was a longtime member of the United Auto Workers Union. He enjoyed building and working on computers, traveling with his wife and spending time with his family. Harry also enjoyed caring for his Yellow Naped Amazon Parrott, Charlie and his dog, Abby.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 27th at 1 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Nebo Memorial Park Cemetery in Martinsville.
