Harry E. Gill, age 74, of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday evening, February 1, 2025, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.
Harry was born November 4, 1950, in Franklin. He was a proud retiree of Kawneer in Franklin, where he worked for over 20 years. Harry’s true passion was restoring old cars and trucks—his skill in bodywork and painting was unmatched, and it was a joy to him to bring these vehicles back to life.
In addition to his work, Harry enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially tending to his yard. He was a devoted fan of NASCAR, with Jimmie Johnson as his favorite driver, and also enjoyed following World Wrestling Entertainment, eagerly anticipating the Royal Rumble event in Indianapolis just last weekend.
Harry is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Diane (Tucker) Gill, whom he married on September 29, 1993, in Franklin. He is also survived by his children, Regina (Treshaun Jiggetts) Pruitt of Franklin, Laura (Nicolas Vogel) Pruitt of Franklin, Kim (Eric) Keller Nineveh, Lisa (Brian) Couch of Florida & Sabrina Mix of Greenwood; his siblings, Gary Andrews of Martinsville and Tommy Andrews of Paoli; as well as 12 grandchildren, Bryanna Pruitt, Bradly Blackadar, Landon Adams, Christian Pruitt, Junior Jiggetts, Lilly Vancleave, Mavric Vogel, Chris Keller, Dustin Smith, Zach Keller, Dylan Mix & Alex Couch; and four great-grandchildren.
Harry was preceded in death by mother, Iola K. Andrews; stepfather, Frank Andrews; and siblings, Craig Andrews Jr., Kay Andrews, Ronnie Gill & JR Andrews.
A Celebration of Harry’s Life will be held at a future date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
