He also found joy in watching Gunsmoke, Hogan’s Heroes, and Columbo, and was an enthusiastic fan of the Indianapolis Colts and the Kansas City Chiefs.
George is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Martha J. (Tuck) Lewis, whom he married on July 6, 1958, in West Virginia. He is also survived by his children: Mark Lewis of Martinsville; Michael Lewis of Brown County; Todd (Kathy) Lewis of Paragon; Laura Arnold of Brown County; and Ted (Shawnda) Lewis of Martinsville; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
