Frances Earlene (Beals) Egan, age 88 of Lenoir City, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, July 15, 2024. She was a former resident of Martinsville, Indiana. Frances was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed a long career with Vectren Energy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Egan; parents, Frank and Edith (Mann) Beals; sister, Phyllis Neer; granddaughter, Kimberly; and the father of her children, Carl G. Blankenship.
Frances is survived by her sons, Rickey Blankenship, Michael Blankenship, and Bruce Blankenship; grandchildren, Rachel, David, Monica, Thomas, Rickey Jr., Randy, Jayme, Cassie, and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Serena, Bryson, Reagan, Adriana, Riley, Sam, Tristan, Caleb, Harvey, Madison, Mirra, Layla, Haley, and one on the way; great-great grandchildren, Oliver and Greyson; brother, Frank Beals Jr. and wife, Meiko; nieces, Elly, Linda, Christina, Lisa and Angela; nephews, Doug, Mark and Bryan.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, July 19th from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. conducted by Mr. Phil Deckard. Burial will be at Nebo Memorial Park Cemetery in Martinsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in honor of Frances to American Cancer Society, 5635 West 96th Street, Ste. 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
