Earnest E. "Gene" Hill

Earnest E. “Gene” Hill, age 77, passed away peacefully at home on December 7, 2024. He was a resident of Martinsville and a former resident of Morgantown.

Gene was born in Martinsville on May 16, 1947, to the late Ernest V. and Dorothy M. (Hammack) Hill. He is survived by his beloved spouse, Brenda (Smith) Hill and his children, Jason Hill and wife Marsha, Jeremy Hill and wife Jennifer and Elizabeth Smith and husband Keith. Gene is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Addisyn, Cami, Alexander, Christopher, Aiden, Nathaniel and Kaitlyn; brother, Russell (Beckie) Hill; niece, Kassidy Hill and several other nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, December 13th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Meredith – Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown, followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. conducted by Rev. Burt Brock at Nebo Memorial Park Cemetery, 3295 State Road 252 in Martinsville.
