Dr. Douglas A. Darbro

Dr. Douglas A. Darbro, age 81 passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, September 17, 2024. He was a resident of Morgantown.

Doug was born in Indianapolis on November 8, 1942 to his parents, the late Joseph "Paul" and Leona (Hall) Darbro.  He was a graduate of Park Tudor High School in Indianapolis and earned his undergraduate degree from Wabash College. Doug proudly served his country with the United States Army Reserves before attending Indiana University School of Medicine.  He earned his medical degree and practiced family medicine in Greenwood until his retirement.

Doug enjoyed spending time in nature and working with computers.

Doug will be missed by his wife of 59 years, Mary Jane (Eichenauer) Darbro, whom he married on September 4, 1965. He is also survived by his siblings: Donald (Liz) Darbro and Diane (Jim) Williams as well as several nieces and nephews.
