Douglas Eugene Brock

Douglas Eugene Brock, age 52, died on January 10, 2026, in Martinsville, Indiana. He was born on Sept 23, 1973, in Bloomington, to Mary Emily Brock and Donald Eugene Brock. Douglas grew up in Nashville, Indiana. He attended Brown County Schools in Helmsburg and Nashville, as well as the Joy Howe School in Columbus, Indiana.

Douglas is survived by his adult children: Aaron Sizemore, Anjela Sizemore, and Jacobie Sizemore. He also had 2 grandchildren, Phoenix Mobley, age 5; and Rennesmeigh Mobley, age 2, children of Anjela Sizemore and Jadin Mobley. He is also survived by his half sister Joyce Sawyer, and half brother Albert; as well as many cousins in the Bloomington and Unionville areas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Donald Brock of Nashville, his Grandparents, Leonard and Dorothy Brock of Unionville, Indiana; and his uncles, George Brock, David (Bud) Brock, and aunt Marjorie Brock.

Douglas grew up on Helmsburg Road, Nashville, spending his days playing and hiking in the woods, and fishing in the farm pond. As an adult, he enjoyed teaching his children to fish in the same pond. Doug worked in construction, and travelled some. His hobbies were building birdhouses with his children, music, crafts, and playing his guitar along with YouTube songs. He was a kind grandparent to Phoenix, age 5, and Rennesmeigh, age 2. He enjoyed taking them on walks and to the park when he lived near them. Doug will be greatly missed by his family, with his optimism about the future getting better, and his smile will always be remembered.
