Donna “Desiree” Devereaux Dickman, age 66, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, July 3, 2025, at her home in Martinsville, Indiana. By her side was her devoted husband, Randy.
Desiree was born on December 5, 1958, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to the late Warren E. and Elizabeth Jane (Anderson) Denise. She was a graduate of J. Everett Light Career Center in Indianapolis, where she earned her degree in nursing. Desiree worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for several years and also raised Golden Retrievers for over 35 years, a passion that brought her great joy.
She loved tending to her flower gardens, watching HGTV and shopping. Desiree was a loyal fan of the Indianapolis Colts and a former fan of the Miami Dolphins. Above all, she cherished time with her family and cared for them deeply.
Desiree is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Randy E. Dickman, whom she married on January 30, 1988, in North Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is also survived by her children: David (Kim) Denise of Indianapolis, Heather (Jacob) Kill of Indianapolis and Randi (Joel) Hopkins of Martinsville; brothers: Warren (Leah) Denise of Hollywood, Florida, Jay (Charlene) Denise of Montrose, West Virginia and Greg (Ginger) Denise of Hollywood, Florida; and her beloved grandchildren: Kaly Kill, David Denise, Kaitlyn Denise, Zachary Denise, Jasmine Kill, Rowen Gentzel, Rylan Gentzel, Raleigh Jensen and Sammy Kill.
A Celebration Gathering to honor Desiree’s Life will be held on Sunday, August 10th from 3 to 5 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown.
