Donna Lee (Loudermilk) Brunton, age 81, passed away peacefully at home in Brown County on Tuesday morning, August 5, 2025 with her family by her side.
Donna was born August 19, 1943 in Indianapolis, to her parents, the late Jack H. and Martha Jane (Steele) Loudermilk. She graduated from Howe High School in 1961 and went on to earn her cosmetology license from House of James Beauty College. Donna was a hairdresser for many years at the JCPenny in both the Bloomington and Columbus locations. She also worked in the makeup department for L.S. Ayres, retiring from her cosmetology career in the early 2000s.
Donna was a member of the Nashville Christian Church. She found joy in sewing, crocheting and acrylic painting. Donna was a loving mom, sister and grandma who cherished time spent with her family.
She will be missed by her children, Dawn (Luke) Huddleston of Brown County and David (Pam) Brunton of Columbus; grandchildren, Rachel, Logan & Jake Huddleston, Dani Boardman, Zach Stangle, Sarah Raymond, Gage Brunton and Pierce Brunton; three great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Ann (Ralph) Smith of Brown County and special nieces and nephews; David, Susan, Kathy, Nancy, Joe, Bill, Julie and Jim.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents and sister Mary Jane Ladd –Wolfarth.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. with a eulogy at 6:15 p.m. on Monday, August 11th at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. A graveside service will follow on Tuesday, August 12th at 10 a.m. at Needmore Cemetery in Brown County.
