Deborah J. “Debbie” Harden, age 71, of Nashville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, November 11, 2025, at Brown County Health & Living Community.
Debbie was born in Columbus on April 15, 1954, to her parents, Weber Jr. and Wilma Jean (Hampton) Harden. She was a 1973 graduate of Brown County High School. Debbie worked for many years as an administrative assistant for Harden Engineering in Brown County and also owned and operated her own residential cleaning service.
She enjoyed watching classic movies, playing computer games, and working crossword puzzles. Debbie also loved spending time with her family and caring for her fury pets, especially her beloved dog, Bear.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Harden.
Survivors include her siblings, David (Tonya) Harden of Nashville, Douglas (Darlene) Harden of Nashville, and Vicki Darlene Harden of Greenwood; sister-in-law, Vicki Jean Harden of Nashville; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on December 19th from 6-9 p.m. at Parkview Church of the Nazarene: 1750 State Road 46 in Nashville. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith Funeral Home, Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
The family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, a cause close to Debbie’s heart, as she bravely battled the disease for most of her adult life.
