Deborah Cline Obituary

Deborah L. “Debbie” (Ezell) Cline, age 67 passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at her home in Brown County.

Debbie was born May 20, 1957 in Indianapolis, to the late Ernest Leon and Mabel "Jean" (Weaver) Ezell. Debbie attended Indian Creek High School in Trafalgar and was a loving mother, grandmother and homemaker. In her early years she worked at Dairy Queen & The Seasons, both in Nashville, Fruitdale Market and as a private and professional seamstress. Debbie was best known for being a caregiver to many and spoiling those she loved. Family and friends knew they were always welcome to stop and fill their hearts with stories and bellies with homemade goodies while sitting around Debbie's kitchen table. She especially enjoyed decorating for the holidays but Christmas was her favorite time of year.  Debbie collected Christmas villages and was a fan of NASCAR and the Green Bay Packers.

Debbie is survived by her children, Brandie Hutt of Hope, Daisy Cline of Morgantown and Jason Cline of Franklin; mother, Carolyn Ezell of North Vernon; grandchildren, Brittanie, Brooke, Brysen, Kaylan, Mallory & Spencer; great grandchildren, Leyland, Oakleigh, Rave, Levi, Haze, Emma, Harmonnie and Kolt; siblings, Becky Lahne of Morgantown, Pam (Matt) Reddington of Morristown, Leon (Monica) Ezell of Frohna, MO, Tammie Collins of North Vernon, Joey Collins of Shelbyville & Eddie Ezell of Martinsville; and several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Paul C. Cline, whom she married on December 11, 1976 in Indianapolis.

The Rev. Frank Criswell will conduct a graveside service on Friday, February 28th at 12:15 p.m. at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
