DeAnna M. (Beaver) Hardwick

DeAnna M. (Beaver) Hardwick, age 57, passed away all too soon on Friday afternoon, June 13, 2025, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Franklin.

DeAnna was born on May 13, 1968, in Norfolk, Virginia, and was a 1986 graduate of Indian Creek High School. She most recently worked as a Customer Service Specialist for Metronet, and prior to that, she served as a dedicated CNA for Right at Home in Indianapolis.

A former member of Morgantown Baptist Church, DeAnna was a woman of many talents and interests. She enjoyed crocheting and crafting beautiful flower bouquets. She found joy in the outdoors—camping, boating, and riding alongside her husband on his Harley Davidson. She was also an avid fan of the reality show, Baylen Out Loud. Above all, DeAnna was devoted to her family, whom she loved deeply.

She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Archie Lee Hardwick, whom she married on July 28, 2001, in Brown County. DeAnna is also survived by her mother, Kathy Gipson of Brown County; her children, Steven (Kacee) Hardwick of Brown County, Josh (Lisa) Stargell of Brown County, Melinda (Tyler) Zapfe of Nineveh, Bridgette Hardwick of Franklin, and Bri (Tyler) Roman of Columbus; and her siblings, Tracy (Robert) Spragg, Angel (Aaron) White of Brown County, Jamie (Dale) Hamilton of Columbus, Tony (Monica) Reasor of Oklahoma, Nicole (Scott) Smith of New Palestine, Hope (Chris) Welling of Trafalgar, and Michelle (Al) Christy of Geist.

She was a proud grandmother to Parker, Charlie, Adley, Liam, Hallie, Shiloh, and Emerson, and cherished her best friend, Tori (Brad) Hertenstein of Franklin. DeAnna will also be missed by her beloved furry companion, Daisey Mae.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marion “Mike” Beaver Jr., and her sister-in-law, Iva Anderson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 21st, at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
