Crystal Mae Merriman

Crystal Mae Merriman, age 38 passed away all too soon on Sunday, May 19, 2024. She was a resident of Trafalgar.

Crystal was born May 5, 1986 in Indianapolis, and was a 2004 graduate of Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis.  She loved spending time with her daughter, Maelynn, loving on her cat, Miles and working on arts and crafts projects. Crystal enjoyed listening to music from the early 2000’s, with the Red Hot Chili Peppers being her favorite band.

She will be missed by her daughter, Maelynn Bertram; mother Terri Merriman and father, Gerald “Jerry” Merriman; siblings, Stacey (Zachary) Attwood, Ashley (Steven Reed) Dewitt and Joshua (Hunter) Merriman; paternal grandmother, Rebecca Merriman-Arnold, great grandmother Emma Decker as well as several aunts & uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Crystal was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents David & Jeunetta Ross as well as her paternal grandfather, James Merriman.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29th at Bear Creek Cemetery in Brown County. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown.
