Besides his parents, he was preceded in death on July 7, 2019 by his loving wife of 49 years, Priscillia (Mesa) Beaver, whom he married on February 19, 1970 in Guam. Buddy was also preceded in death by a son, Cris Mesa Beaver; and a sister, Judy Beaver.

He is survived by his son, David (wife, Marie) Beaver of Chalan Pago, Guam; granddaughters, Isabella & Victoriana Beaver, both of Chalan Pago, Guam; siblings, Charles “Charlie” (wife, Shelly) Beaver of Morgantown, Mark Beaver of Peoria, AZ, Peggy (husband, Mark) Perry of Morgantown, Susan (husband, Steve) Ralph of Martinsville, Sherri (Brian) Donahue of South Carolina, Carrie (husband, Jeff) Lohrman of Brazil, IN and Wayne Beaver of Morgantown.
