Christina Georgianna Lyons

Christina “Chris” Georgianna Lyons, age 62 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 in Martinsville, Indiana.

Chris was born July 14, 1963 in Hartford, Connecticut to her parents, the late Edward Joseph and Kathryn A. (Ewing) Lyons.  After graduating high school she attended Indiana University in Bloomington.

Chris had a career in the accounting industry. She was also an avid reader and a woman of deep Christian faith, which guided her throughout her life.

Chris is survived by her sisters Katheryn “Kathy” Sultzbaugh of Collins, Ohio and Morgan Greer of Carolina Beech, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Cindy Buechler and son, Joshua Wertz.

Chris was laid to rest at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith Funeral Home in Morgantown.
