Beulah I. (Dailey) Kelso, age 89 passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, March 18, 2023 at Brown County Health & Living Community in Nashville. She was a resident of Brown County.
Beulah was born February 9, 1934 in Marion County, to her parents, the late John and Wilma (Bauman) Dailey. She was a 1952 graduate of Helmsburg High School. Beulah was a loving homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family and home. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, handcrafts, reading and working with flowers. Beulah was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts. She was a 50-year member of both the Neighborhood Church of God in Brown County and the Nineveh Order of the Eastern Star where she was a Past Worthy Matron.
Beulah was preceded in death on April 24, 1988 by her loving husband of 36 years, Dale C. Kelso, whom she married on September 26, 1952 in Trafalgar. She was also preceded in death by three grandchildren, Taylor Marie, Alison and Benjamin Kelso.
Beulah is survived by her sons, Roger (Brenda) Kelso of Nashville & Bruce (Jena) Kelso of Oklahoma City, OK; siblings, Phyllis Warren & Robert Dailey both of Brown County; grandchildren, Jeffrey Alexander Kelso of Nashville & Mark Russell Kelso of Oklahoma City, OK.; great granddaughter, Georgia Rose Cosner.
The Rev. Mary Cartwright will conduct a funeral service on Thursday at 1 p.m. at Meredith - Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood. An Order of the Eastern Star Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
